Pretty pretty

And oh shit, now I have that Velvet Underground 'Shiny shiny' song back in my head. Of which I know but one line.

Heard you were trying to get hold of me this here just-ending summer, Luku. Can't've tried all that hard, I heard nothing or primary source. Too bad. But never mind: hope you've had some splendid times. Yes?

Other thing is, please help me (and make all your friends do so also) to think of the most amazing fancy dress to the theme of Films costume in the world ever, for my 21st party to which you are of course invited though the shiny shiny invitations are yet to be invented (York, early Decemeberish, dazzling). If anybody knows of any films other than Ugh Annie with high-profile characters of the not-too-hideousugly curlyhair (though actually, it can be straight also) ginger girl variety prancing easily-recognisably through them, I'd be oh-so grateful for reports of them. Pictures maybe also.

Love!

Elizabeth I (film: Elizabeth)?

Kate Winslet's character in Titanic was somewhat irritating, but had a nice wardrobe.

Oh, and Nicole Kidman's done lots of ginger roles, not least Satine in Moulin Rouge...

Opals are overrated. And bad luck too, apparently.
